MAKE-UP BAG SPRING CLEAN

As we have more time on our hands than usual, it could be a good time to clear out the cobwebs of our Make-up Bags, and store away any Winter shades that will not suit this sunny, and warm time we are experiencing and entering into...
As we can catch some rays we may have a little more colour to our skin, and won't want or need as much coverage or weight in products. Here are my recommended staple products for this Spring/Summer sunny weather!

BB/CC Cream, Tinted Moisturiser, Mineral Powder - All of these products are light on the skin, and will give light to medium coverage, not feel too heavy on the skin in this weather. If you have a drier skin then I would opt for a Tinted Moisturiser, Combination or Normal a BB/CC Cream, or for an oily skin try mineral powders.

Creamy Concealer - The reason I have suggested something creamy, as in sunny weather, our skin naturally dries out or becomes dehydrated quicker, so especially around the delicate eye area it would be beneficial to cushion that area with a product that can feed some moisture back into the skin.

Bronzer - Oh the holy grail for adding the look of colour, health or sculpt. Any Bronzer, matte or with shimmer is fine for the Summer time, and is a personal preference whether or not you like little or more glow.

Cream Blush - You may like to just use a Bronzer but I personally use both, for a bit of colour on the apples. Try a Cream Blush over a powder, it will add more moisture to the skin, feel lighter and will look more natural & glowey.

Waterproof Mascara - A Waterproof Mascara, will add longevity around the eyes if they ether get rubbed or stream because of allergies, or you are being outdoorsy, or around water its just helpful to have an extra protective layer of armour.

Lip Balm - Everyone loves a good Lip Balm, you could try one with a tint or without. If you are not into lip colour then something on the lips at least just finishes off a Make-up look, and will protect the lip area from becoming dry.

Lastly, one more product which is really helpful in the Make-up bag during warm times is a Hydrating Face Spray, which can be spritz over the face and Make-up throughout the day to refresh and increase water levels from the outside, preventing Make-up sitting in the lines!
